Every character in this book is so darn vivid! You meet someone for two paragraphs and they haunt you afterwards. (Bad graveyard puns-woo!) I was particularly taken with Liza the "accused witch" from the hill. Strangely enough I've only read Gaiman's kids books (his picture books in particular have a HUGE place in my heart), but finishing this one I think I may need to eat up a few of his adult titles very, very soon.
