I didn't know what to think of this book when I started reading it. Everyone hates Bernie Madeoff. However when his daughter-in-law decided to write a book about the family and the tragedy that affected the family because of it, I have to admit my heart felt for her. Her husband (and I am giving no spoilers away here look at any paper)hangs himself because he is so ashamed of his father and how his mother has stuck to his father's side during the whole messy financial fiasco. You cannot make up suicide and pain and loss. I feel sorry for Stephanie Mack and her two young children and her husband's other two children. They were certainly not part of any swindling operation or ponzi scheme. However if you were swindled out of every last dime, I would completely understand if you wouldn't want to read the book. However don't blame the kids.
