I'm honestly not sure if I liked this book or not. I just couldn't get into it as much as I would have liked. At first I was going to give it 2 stars to represent it being okay but I remembered there were elements of the book that I did like e.g. Frank's sidebar with the reader, (view spoiler). ToMo also deals with some pretty heavy topics within the narrative i.e. PTSD and eugenics.

The story revolves around Frank Money and his sister, Cee, and gives us a view into their childhood as well as the aftermath of how Frank deals with coming back from the Korean War. He is forced to go back 'home' and fully address his past after he receives a message that urges him to rescue his sister. There are also several themes that run throughout the book that deal with loss, grief, love, acceptance etc. Overall, I wasn't that captivated with it.
