Read in May, 1978 — I own a copy , read count: 1

I found this volume among the books discarded by the Union Theological Seminary Library from the donated collection of H. VanDusen. I read it because Revelation was obscure and of interest, and because Lattimore performed his translation more out of the Greek literary tradition than from a biblical perspective. What remains outstanding is his use of the word "slaves" where most other translations would have it as "servants" as in "servants of god."

David S. T. There is now a complete translation of the new testament from him, one of these years I'm going to get around to reading it.
