Sparks Fly (Light Dragons, #3)

Ysolde is still trying to awaken her inner dragon as well as doing what the First Dragon expects her to do. Her visions are helpful in a "let's look into the past in short clips and see if you can guess where I'm going with this" sort of way. Humor abounds in this installment, as with all of Katie Mac's books, and had me cracking up - My husband has officially deemed me to be crazy! Lol.
The entire book is fabulous, however, my absolute favorite scene involves Ysolde, Constantine, a blow-up sheep, and the First Dragon, in a sex paraphernalia shop. I loved it so much I've read those pages again 3 times...they just make me giggle. Example: "Constantine muttered to himself as he beat the vibrating, baaing blow-up doll against the wall in an attempt to shut it up" (K. MacAlister, 2012, pg. 38). Of course, you may not find this particular passage humorous but when read in the scene's entirety, it has a whole different level of fun.
Another silly passage: "I wasn't normally the sort of woman who went around flinging her nostrils willy-nilly at people..." (K. MacAlister, 2012, pg. 64).
If you enjoy abstract humor, criss-crossing plot lines and a mixture of characters from the entire dragon series' (like Jim the demon) then you'll love this book.
Just for the record...All of the Dragon books written by Katie Mac are wonderful. They are full of snark, sarcasm, wit, humor, seriousness, and love.
