Loved it! This book made me laugh! Shannon Hale has such a witty writing style. I loved this one more than Austenland; I could relate to the main character better because she is more like me than the heroine in the first book. I loved the Gothic mystery, suspense, romance, humor, the structure...everything. It is such fun "escapist" chick lit. But lest I lead you astray, there are serious issues too which I could appreciate: the complexities of betrayal and divorce, and the angst of parenting teenagers. Overall, just a fun read.

Linda Francis I can't wait to get to this...I feel the same way about Shannon Hale's books as you do. She is like my hero.
