Detailed, but interesting biography of our first President. He comes across as a humble man embarrassed by his lack of education, but also decisive, thoughtful, intuitive and a natural leader. Interesting to hear about his struggles over slavery, especially as he was land-rich but money-poor. An ideal person to lead the fledgling country.
