Fantastically well done. This was the third book in the trilogy of Roosevelt biographies from Edmund Morris. I read the first book about 12 years ago and bought this last book last summer. Its big. My only complaint is that the amount of day to day detail was overwhelming. Much more so than the other two books. This book consisted of Roosevelt's life after he left the office in 1908 until his death, three days after the birth of my grandfather.... Jan 6th, 1919.

Roosevelt was one amazing person. I don't agree with everything he said or did, but it would be deceitful to say he didn't impress the hell out of me and make me consider him one of the most amazing Americans of all time.

Interestingly enough......I doubt TR could be elected President these days, regardless of his ideology.
