Several friends suggested reading this book, and I'm glad I did. I'm not a fan of the 'typical' romance novel, with overblown imagery and aptly-named characters. When I saw the main character's name was 'Blake Hartt' I almost put it down. I'm glad I didn't.

It's a well-crafted love story with just enough angst. And although I enjoyed the push/pull of the main characters, I think the tertiary characters are what truly make this story stand out. Mouse is by far the most interesting character I've seen in a very long time.

I sense that theres room for a sequel here, and I'm keeping tabs on Debra Anastasia to see what comes next.
