I would love to give this novel a higher rating, but of all the T.Greenwood novels it was my least favorite. It deserves more than three stars, but not quite four. The story itself was interesting enough, but it didn't draw me in the way Undressing the Moon or This Glittering World did. I remember falling completely in love with those novels the moment I picked them up. However, there is something so beautiful about Greenwood's writing. I cannot express enough how magical her words are. Maybe that's what I love most about her novels - the way she strings words together like a strand of pearls. Her descriptions are so vivid and alive, I can't help but feel like I'm right there. Another good story from an amazing author.
