A mis-named book. This is a collection of essays, the theme seems to be "dangerous professions". Only the first two are about fighting forest fires. There is one about a man who hunts whales. There are several written about foreign countries, Kosovo, Kashmir, Sierra Leone, Cyprus. The one about Cyprus is the most informative and interesting. It describes the political situation there and how it came to be.
