Coben, Kellerman, these are my go-to authors for escapist, mystery, murder fiction. Once again, the two protagonists are old friends (pro sports agent and wealthy financier) and I'm caught up in their own interpretation of right and wrong when it comes to solving crimes. Coben's writing style elicits outright laughs at times. Very readable and often sarcastic. Though sometimes predictable (actually had a pretty good inkling of this "whodunit" midway through), I'm reading avidly until the end to tie up all the pieces of the puzzle. Though based in North Jersey and NYC mostly, this book spends some time in the Philadelphia area so the local color was fun, too.
