really liked it

What a fun book! I have to admit I was a little weary going into it, and even the beginning I thought was rather slow. However, after reading other reviews that describe hex hall as a mix between Harry potter, mean girls, and Sabrina the teenage witch, I figure you can't go wrong - and you can't!

Sophie was a blast. I really enjoyed following the story though her - she is witty, smart, and discovering her past right along with the reader so nothing ever became too confusing. This book kept me on the edge of my seat!

And of course what book would be compete without a mysterious hottie? Archer totally fits the bill. I love the friendship he and Sophie have and what a twist at the end!!! I'm on pins and needles to find out what happens to him in the next book.
