** spoiler alert **
I do like to indulge my romantic side every once in awhile (and not just with gay pirates), and in the past I have found Quinn to be a nice light, witty read. Perfect for sitting around in the afternoon when you feel like doing nothing but eating bon bons, etc. However, the enitre plot of this last-of-the-Bridgertons book was written in, like, five steps on the back cover, minus the obvious blackmail subplot. Gregory falls in love with Hermione, whose best friend Lucy tries to help them out, but Hermione marries Lucy's brother and G & L fall in love, but Lucy has to marry some gay guy because of the blackmail blah blah blah. They end up happily ever after with about 10 kids. I didn't really expect anything different, since I knew I was reading a romance, but I did expect it to be more entertaining.
