Liked it quite a lot as it explored genetic engineering, a compound similar to a hidden bunker and women who wanted babies but not boys. I truly worried about the hero's diet (2 Big Whoppers or maybe just one.) The issues of a church, a doctor/pastor and thousands of dollars for 'research' were intriguing. It was an engaging read though I got a bit lost near the end.
How much time had passed before hero and Jenna went to visit her mom, did the bad guy with a gun have a heart attack? The combination of cult or church, how to steal a baby before it's born [excellent research!] was somewhat scary because it can happen. I hope it stops being true but I'm not in charge. Thank you, L.J.! Enjoyed your book.
