This story is a fun take on the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale, with fairies (including Fred, who wasn't a fairie, but no one had the heart to tell him), and princes (who can throw a mean quince) and a way-ward pie cart. A great read-aloud for 5 - 8yo. (or as a great exercise for senior primary in taking a favourite fairy tale and twisting it to their own making)
