I would marry this book.... I simply adore this book in a way a child would with their candy. There are times where I would pluck my hair in frustration; the humour the novel contains, accumulated an abundance of laughter and joy. I didn't simply fall for this book because of the humour, I found the humour to be a key aspect that separates 'Clockwork Prince' from other young adult fiction. That being said, the world of where 'Clockwork Prince' is set; is not one of those cliche been-there-and-done-that. Clare has literally created 'a world I'd love to live in' - Stephanie Meyer - that is so easily immersive through the realism of the characters and the understandable dilemmas in the novel. As a recommendation, it is strongly encouraged to read the first book 'Clockwork Angel' to avoid any tedious I-don't-undestand moments. Nevertheless, 'Clockwork Prince' has inspired me to look out for more steampunk themed novels and has also shown me a world of Charles Dickens' goodness!!!
