it was amazing
Read from December 30 to 31, 2011

Dense as the jungle the story lives in, the characters slither and twine in the plot branches like a snake. Dr. Swenson is a relentless character, pare her down to what you think is her core, and her personality vines cover her back up again in a heartbeat. Dr. Marina Singh is a jungle flower, maybe lovely, maybe dangerous, maybe both. This is the work of a master storyteller at her peak, in possession of the finest tools of her craft. A thrill to read.
