This starts off wonderfully, but I think it comes slightly unstuck with some supernatural content, which isn't Keillor's natural territory. However, his humour and vivid depiction of smalltown life still make it well worth reading.

Maria I haven't been on GR for god knows how long but I thought of you because I'm reading Noel Coward's letters and this tome -- over 2 inches thick -- is so interesting & dry-witty I think you'd love it. Febulous photos too, of all those people he knew & he did know EVERYBODY. I hope to do a review soon saying how fascinating it is.

Judy Sorry to be late in answering, Maria, but Goodreads didn't send me any notification of this comment and I've only just spotted it! Noel Coward's letters sound fabulous - I'm going to look right now and see if you have reviewed them yet!
