---------SPOILER-------
I loved the way it ended. :-) The last half of the book when they were traveling through the capital was hard to follow. I liked the twist of having Peta be brainwashed into hating Katsniss. It was so hard to see happen, but it made the ending more sweet. :-)
I really liked this series, but this last book was very confusing at times. I had a hard time picturing in my mind what was happening as they went through the Capital (I figured when they make the movie, it will all make sense - the big gooy black blobs and crazy stuff they encountered) . I did like the twist with Peeta and Katniss's relationship.
Some people that I talked to said that they didn't like the ending, but I really liked the ending of this book and series. It was tied up very nicely, and you knew what happened to everyone, years later. At the end of the book, in my mind's eye/movie "eye", I picture Peeta and Katniss outside their home with their children. Katniss and Peeta are trimming the primrose bushes, the children are playing and laughing in the yard, and there's closing dialog from Katniss about what happened when they returned "home". As the shot/movie ends, the camera pans up and over the happy family, and a bright yellow sunset drenched world where all is right and good. The end. :-)
