Another solid story. I think I was influenced to like this one because I'm a fan of the writer's Cassie Palmer series though. I already liked Tomas and hated Alejandro. I'm not as sure about how the story would stand up for readers who aren't familiar with the series, but I think that they'd like it. It isn't that it has a lot of obscure references, it was just a little bit more typical thank some of her other stories. But, like several others, it is available for free on her website and at smashwords.

Cathy I really appreciated being able to download most of Chance's free stories to my nook, it's so much easier for me to read on it than on my computer screen. It's so nice to be able to download in whatever format works for you, for free, smashwords is a great service. The newest story was only on her site unfortunately, but now I want to explore smashwords and see what other fun stuff might be there!

Did you notice the Ilona Andrews story too? That one was just on their website (with kindle and uPub formats) on Christmas day and will only be available for another week. It's a terrific Kate and Curran story, if you're a fan of the series. I feel like I got great Christmas gifts from these authors by finding these stories.
