Awesome book. Parents: don't let fear of the bogeyman make captives of your kids. In short: the world is just as safe, or safer, than it was when you were a kid, so let your kids out to play, let them eat their halloween candy (before they get home even!), let them ride the bus or the subway or just WALK TO SCHOOL!

FYI This book had some topical overlap with Simplicity Parenting but was a much lighter and more fun read, so I would recommend this one if you had to choose.
