Loved it. Friends to Lovers are my favourite type of books. Kyle and Evan have been in love with each other for ages but never done anything about it because they both think they want different things in life.

There were quite a few things going on in this story - Kyle's writers block, Evan's new job offer, Evan's old relationship, a lil mystery about a journal, the train ride and all the lusting. While they all seemed to tie in together well, at times i felt that things kept getting cut off in the story due to another plot point.

A lot of it also felt like communication issues between Evan and Kyle, but it was written well enough to make be believe that these two had enough presumptions about the other person and needed the time to sort everything out. It did get very frustrating though :)
Beneath all the extra subplots though, i liked what they felt for each other. The admiration and need to make the other happy and the deep friendship they shared.
This is my second Sloan Parker and i'll definitely be reading more.
