really liked it

Went to Living History Farms in IA and picked-up this book and read it in 2 days. It's, for me, a fascinating account of what it was like to live on a farm in the Midwest, which is how my mother grew-up. She hated it - the author loved it. The food accounts and recipes were especially fun to read about.
