It was a cute story, an easy read. It was entertaining, too. It just wasn't WOW. I will read the next book in the Bubbles series, but I'm not rushing to get it, either. Will I read the non Bubbles books Sarah has written? Most definitely. I don't know if I have read a bunch of books of this genre so I'm getting a little burned out? I started this because The Diary of Anne Frank was too sad and The Jungle Book was just a little bizarre and The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin needs a little bit more concentration than I want to give a book in the evenings. I'll hit a different genre, then come back and see what disasters befall Bubbles. I would like to see a bit more attention to detail...like, referring to Aerosmith then reference the song Cat Scratch Fever, which was done by Ted Nugent. Also, saying someone was Pennsylvania Dutch but living in suburban PA living in a house and eating Polish food and wearing a babushka????? Not sure....but it didn't seem quite right to me.
