Mr. Thor's heart is in the right place and his action sequences are pretty gripping. He has plenty of inside knowledge on homeland security and he's angered the islamofascists to the point that he travels with an appropriately menacing bodyguard. The books are a notch below those of Vince Flynn and many notches below those of Daniel Silva. I like the guy though...so I'm reading his books. If you get a chance to attend a book-signing do yourself a favor and go. He is quite amiable and entertaining.
