I really loved this book. It was beautifully written, and the feeling of the story, the characters, especially Lavinia, and the setting has stayed with me. The idea of filling in the blanks in the life of a marginal character from the Aeneid is brilliant and extremely well-executed. Le Guin has an unparallelled ability to create and people completely a believable world. I read it on Kindle, but it is one I will find in keep on my shelf. Highly recommended.
