This was a great follow-up to Same Kind of Different as Me. I know it wasn't necessarily a main theme in this book, but I think most people (including myself) worry about giving money to a stranger who seems to be in need. What if they just take the money and go get drunk or high? I have thought about this a lot, and personally I feel the same as Denver. We have to do what God is telling us to do and leave that person's actions between him/her and God. I seem to keep coming across the verse in Scripture about whatever we've done for the least of these, we've done it for the Lord. This book, Same Kind of Different as Me, and also Crazy Love have all brought this verse and idea to the forefront for me lately. I'm trying to be more aware of how I can act on this verse.
