I loved Stefan! It was hard not to feel bad for him with his upbringing, but it was great watching him fall head over heels for Judith. Feehan always has the "instant love" in her stories, and it's easier to buy when a paranormal element is present in a story like it was in this one. I loved Judith. She was strong in so many ways and dealt with some pretty ugly things with her ex. Even though the plot was interesting, and gave Stefan and Judith a reason to meet, the bulk of the story was focused on the two of them and their relationship. Lots of great dialogue, not as steamy as I was hoping but still steamy, and interesting friends/family make appearances. The only little annoyance, which was really only early in the relationship, was the way Stefan went on and on about how much Judith was affecting him. I understood because he never felt that way before, but it was just a bit too much. Overall, I loved the story, read it every free minute I had, and felt like it went by way too fast!
