This is erotica anthology featuring three ménage novellas. The first and longest novella is “Hot Pepper” by P.F. Kozak. It also happens to be my fav of the book. The heroine of this one, Pepper, is having a run of bad luck. Or maybe not (grin). Years ago she left her hometown to move up the ladder in the banking industry. When the bank she worked for was swallowed up by a larger company, downsizing not only gobbled up her promotion but also her job. Now unemployed, she sells everything she owns that won’t fit in her car and moves back to her hometown.

After spending a week staying at her sister’s house and hearing how worthless she is, Pepper hits the streets and ends up at the bar owned by one of her best friends from high school, Ted. She asks if she can crash with him until she gets back on her feet. Not only is he thrilled to help out (he has a big house with an empty bedroom) but he also gives her a temp job working at his bar so she can make some money. Plus, he hires her to model for him (he is an artist).

Thing is Pepper isn’t his only roommate at the moment. Seems Butch, the man Pepper loved and thought she would marry when they graduated from high school (until he dumped her to marry another woman pregnant with his child), is also staying there. Ten years ago in high school Pepper, Butch, and Ted were best friends. They had also dabbled a little in ménage. Ten years later those times in high school were still some of the best years of their sex lives. Looks like it’s time for round two (big smile). Yup, Pepper, Butch, and Ted highjack my bunny slippers and proceed to have wild rabbit sex for the rest of the novella. This threesome is definitely making up for lost time! Along the way they also discover they love each other. Deeply.

What made this novella work for me was Ted. All these years he thought he was gay. Now he has the hots for Pepper, and when she moves in and he loses his “virginity” to her, it is a very touching moment. Ted is an incredibly sweet guy, an attentive lover, and a talented artist. And now he is also bisexual, much to the delight of Pepper and Butch. This is a fun, romantic erotica novella with a very sweet HEA ending. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The second novella is by Devyn Quinn. I almost stopped reading at the beginning of this one because the mob guy was too scary (I scare easily, if you didn’t already know that *grin*). But I’m glad I stuck with it, because it’s also a good one with a wonderful HEA ending. The third novella is very short. Not a problem for me, but it didn’t seem comfortable in its erotica short form and didn’t work for me. Thus, I have given this anthology 4 stars rather than 5. At any rate, fans of erotica and ménage will enjoy this anthology. The novella by P.F. Kozak alone is worth the price. No kidding.
