**The most minor spoiler alert**
Probably the most unusual, gutsy YA book I've read to date. Who dares to write about Satan and his minions? But when I read the prologue, I couldn't resist. The setting is hell...who wouldn't be curious?

A truly creative work that kept my interest. A few things on the wish list and the fault list:

I wish that Daphne was more developed. I never got a clear picture of her looks. I couldn't quite picture the metal teeth and what made her so appealing--yet she was.

When the demon baby Raymie came into the book, I felt like the author had pushed the envelope too far. In the end her presence is somewhat justified but we never know why Azrael wants her enough to kill for her.

I've never read such a creative description of teen intimacy. That goes for many aspects of the book--the setting, Moloch, Satan himself and Lilith.

Too many unexplained events.

Overall, if you like dark and creepy reads that are intriguing-you might enjoy. Bottom line: it's really just another teen love story in a very unusual setting.
