Ms. Andrews' books are very light-weight to begin with. More than anything else, though, she desperately needs a new editor; I've never seen as many errors and "continuity" issues as her books contain (i.e. why does BeBe call her grandfather "Granddaddy" for exactly half the book and suddenly switch to "Graddad" in the entire second half?). Errors are a distraction but abrupt changes in what one main character calls another make a reader wonder if the author is even awake when she's writing.
