Enjoyed this book. The plot and general premise behind the plot were very good, a murderer helped by a demon returning from the grave to exact revenge on the man who sent him there years before.

On the down side the man and his family are so saccharin sweet that you almost want to throw up they are so fluffy bunny lovely. This of course may be a literary ploy by the author to contrast the ultra goody two shoes family with the evil baddy. However a couple of the books I have read by this author also seem to have an impossibly goody good family as well.

You can almost imagine Nicolette waking up every morning like an actress in a TV show, full make up on, not a hair out of place and looking like a million dollars.

The kids also do not seem at all like any kids that I have ever met, their thought processes do not seem childish to me.

Having said all that I would still recommend this as a good read.
