This was quite a fun read – fast paced, funny and more than a little steamy. I read the book in about four hours and I must admit that by the end, I was sort of glossing over the sex, but I couldn’t put it down until the last page was turned. With a novel that starts with an uptight IT project manager and a stripper getting stuck in an elevator for thirteen hours ... you have to expect a bit of sex. O’Brien managed to keep the characters talking for the first third of the book, but once the clothes came off, it was pretty much non-stop sex between the two with some plot inserted as their relationship develops after they are rescued. I’m not complaining – it was a fun read and this author certainly does write erotica well, keeping things varied and interesting. There’s actually a fair bit of character development and the blossoming romance works really well. Romance or erotica ... erotica or romance. I think this goes under erotica. Full blown, never catch your breath erotica with some very fun characters that you can’t help but liking. :)
