The first chapter of this book earned my trust in the credibility of the author - and was well written. (And made up for the cheesy cover and title.) I'm looking forward to more.

UPDATE: I must note that this is just the worst title. The topic - positive psychology - originally brought to my mind the similar sounding "pseudo-psychology." Positive psychology is actually, not surprisingly just the study of the positive emotions/traits - gratitude, joy, peace, optimism - as opposed to the much more commonly discussed negative emotions/traits - depression, anxiety, anger, fear. So it's not anywhere near as weird as it sounds.

I actually didn't walk away with much of an action plan to "realize my potential for lasting fulfillment." But I did walk away with some new understanding of developments and findings in the research of positive emotions, which was great.
