My favorite of the Carsington series. The kidnappers, treasure, Egyptology, etc made the plot much more active than most of stories. And I loved that the hero really was proud of his wife being so smart -- usually in romances the author tells you how smart the heroine is but she is actually an idiot and the man is smarter. In this case both of them were good at different things. And they were both nice, decent individuals, which is surprisingly rare in romance couples.

Loederkoningin I'm getting a little tired of dumb heroines, so this one sounds promising! Should I give book 1 in this series a go first though? (if you're still able to remember that after 4 years :))

Miriam This one's fun! You don't need to read the first one, the stories aren't really connected at all except for having brothers as the heroes.
