Read in December, 2011

Yet another multi-generational book that goes back and forth in time, about three generations living in Chicago, both downtown and then out in the suburbs. (I liked all the references to places in and around the NW suburbs--Touhy Ave., the model of the leaning tower of Pisa, etc.--places I recently discovered while dating my husband in that area.)
