Simply the best. The best of the series so far (this is book three), and a slog of a read (started in February, finishing in early June), but a completely captivating story. At least three surprise endings, a slew of new characters, a universe as rich and fantastical as Yoknawpatawpha County mixed with Middle-Earth, and an ocean of cliffhangers and fake-outs. My only complaint is that the story is becoming more and more sprawling and more and more hard to keep track of, but I think that the pieces are in motion. Martin is a master storyteller. Highly recommended.

Francis Salazar Well Mr. Sheridan from the comments I read the book looks good. ONe because it was blood and violence. I been wanted to read a book like this. I would if I would also like it and be able to read it cover to cover. Hopefully I get to read it.
