**BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE, CAN I JUST SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS COVER?? -- says a bookworm who judges books by their covers**

I couldn't give this book a full 5 stars even though I really REALLY want to. The start did it for me, this is a book that wants to explain the impossible not with flowery words but instead with simple text. This is a really easy read but the plot moves slowly as the others have suggested. But this is a book for dreamers and not for those who love their usual hack and slash stories because this book takes time to go through everything. In the end, this would either make you hate or love the circus and I am part of the latter, I have officially become one of the rêveurs (you have to read it to get what I'm talking about!). Morgenstern just painted an impossible, magical circus that I WANT TO GO IN AND EXPLORE again and again. I love how imaginative and dream-like the attractions are especially the results of the "challenges" that Marco and Celia have. If you're looking though for romance and love, you will find it here but only AFTER 2/3 of the book. I needed MORE Celia and Marco POVs and this is ironic as the pair are the pillars of the book. It is that frustrating so this will not settle with impatient people. I admit that I along with Marco and Celia became FRUSTRATED with this "game" their masters have thrown themselves in. That part of the story didn't make sense to me, yet. But because I love impossible things becoming a reality and reminds me so much of my other beloved books such as Eva Ibbotson's Which Witch and Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, I would give this book 4 stars.
