I love Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series with its’ quirky and charming characters, and Head Over Heels - the latest warm-fuzzy installment – is a fabulous companion to warm up with a cuppa and a blanket…

drey’s thoughts:

If you’ve read any of Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor books, you knew there was going to be a book for Chloe. Flighty, sassy, Chloe who lets her heart and her determination to not let her asthma rule her life, get her into trouble. Then again, if trouble comes in the form of sexy sheriff Sawyer Thompson, who’s going to complain?

Chloe, of course! Because while this sexy sheriff invades her thoughts and dreams, it doesn’t look like the reverse is true… So what’s a girl to do, other than try to avoid him? Difficult enough under normal circumstances, almost impossible when fate seems to conspire against her.

Jill Shalvis’ characters are warm and endearing, and you’ll root for Chloe to get her happily-ever-after and Sawyer to realize what he’s got right under his nose. Or (since he does realize it) at least do something about it. The dialog’s funny and warm-fuzzy, and the supporting cast of characters are top-notch. I wanted Chloe to quit being so stubborn sooner than she did, but hey it’s all part of a master plan. Right?
