liked it

I don't usually like chick books, but I'll read Jennifer Weiner. This one has as the main character a political wife whose husband gets caught in an extramarital relationship. What I liked best about it was the relationship between her and her own mother - a very powerful woman who forged a path. I also liked the relationship between the two daughters, Diana (who's perfect, but falls) and Lizzie (who's a loser, and IMHO doesn't improve much - but there might be hope.) The tension between two very different women is an interesting thing about both sets of relationships. In fact, that's more interesting than any of the men in the book.
