All right, here's the play-by-play as I work through this book - my physician recommended it to help with anxiety/depression-y things, and I was all "sure, I can therapize myself."

I'm on Chapter 3 right now, "Identifying and Rating Moods". This made me go "huh" because I thought it would be easy, and quickly realized that I have no idea what my negative moods are most of the time. I just know they're negative. Something tells me I'll be working on this chapter for a while...

Bethany Deb, I just finished powering through ch 3. It is very important to grasp 3 before even attempting 4! To get through 3 I took a situation each day for 5 days. And when that situation arose, I took a mini note of it in my phone then later that night paired it up using the mood list. I waited to get all my 5 situations and moods before trying to rate them so I would have an overall perspective and not be caught in the moment and rate everything a 10. All in all, it took about a week and required some personal reflection about whether or not I was justified. Good luck!
