Tricia This was fascinating, right? really interesting life...i want her country home!

Beth Yeah, I was surprised by how much I liked it, because it was so long (I bought it after a very complimentary NYT Book review review) I kept putting it off. But it was really good.
Speaking of country homes, you can still tour Edith Wharton's house in the Berkshires, which is being slowly restored. It's gorgeous and a fun place to go if you ever head up that way!

Emily Klein I also loved this book and read it because of the NY Times review. I will have to get to Edith Wharton's house - she's another favorite of mine. BTW - I just ordered the Diane Arbus bio - looks great.

Beth LOVED the Arbus bio. All about such a fascinating period in NYC history - and of course, about a fascinating woman and artist! I hope you like it!
