After finishing The Reversal, suddenly I want to read more of Mickey Haller; I wanna revisit Matthew McConaughey ;) something he actually mentioned in the book. Here Mickey gets the chance to work with Maggie McFierce when he takes the DA offer to be the prosecutor for this special retrial case.

What I like after reading the two books is that the characters rings quite true. They're just a little bit better, but not a whole lot. For example, Mickey lives in a house with a great view but he mentions that he gotta work hard to pay for it or that Maggie McFierce is a great prosecutor (according to Mickey anyway) but got stuck in smaller office instead of in the main office where all the huge cases are. You can relate to them. At least I can relate to them unlike say, the Bones novel. I like them too but you always feel there's a slight distance between us and Tempe.

So yeah, if you like law and order type of novel, do not miss this one.
