Julia Hamill finds bones in her back yard while she is gardening. They are from a girl who died in the nineteenth century.

We learn of the woman in her home now and wondering how the last homeowner died. Then we follow the story of the 1830s, in Boston at a time when the woman died. Norris Marshall is a medical student who works with a resurrectionalist - stealing bodies from the graveyard and bringing them to another doctor for research.

Barbara Mitchell This is a book that has been on my wish list for a long time. Glad to hear you liked it so much. Seeing you read it 12/22 and 23, either you're very organized or you read it while your wife finished getting ready for Christmas. Merry Christmas!
