Beatrice Hemming is determined to prove that her younger sister, Tess, was murdered. The police, her fiance and their mother have accepted the explanation that Tess was grieving over the loss of her baby and committed suicide, but Beatrice knows this cannot be true. Beatrice uproots her New York life to move to London, into Tess's apartment, into Tess's life, to unravel the mystery. As the proof becomes evidently clear, it's also clear that Beatrice's life is in danger but she is determined to see this through. A great read for mystery lovers.
