Like all of this authors book, something about this book as well, just bugged me. It takes place after her debut novel, so she doesn't work in the traditional sense. Her weight is out of control and this book is about her trying to get control of it. It seemed like the reader sits around for half the book waiting for it to begin. And then once the story FINALLY begins, it just keeps on trucking, until the end and then, THAT'S IT! My total dislike for this book is that the author has the time and flexibility now to go to the gym for like 6 hours a day and loose the weight. If she was still working a normal job, this would have not happened. While the story is chatty like always, it really didn't get started fast enough. So much, hemming and hawing and blah blah blah! Shut the eff up already, get off your ass and get moving! I know that is the point, but it was still annoying. I like chattiness, so I'll probably pick up more from this author. But I feel like the "story" is covered in lame chattiness. I am not a fan, but I like her books. Yeah, go me.
