This book is filled with old people having sex with each other, old people having sex with 24 year olds, and 24 year olds getting brutally raped. Not really sure how this managed to be a best seller.
The narrators voice is all over the place. Sometimes it acts as a character's first person thoughts, sometimes it is third person and omnipotant, and then other times it acts almost as a distinct character, offering its own opinions and forming judgements based on what other charaters have said and thought. It is very strange but not necessarily bad.
Lisbeth was kind of annoying though, much of what she did and thought felt rather arbitrary, and didn't seem to fit as part of a cohesive character.
It was a fun and quick read though, in the end.
