I enjoyed this book though I wasn't much fussed on the narrator, and the end of each segment had a really annoying drop off in volume, which sometimes made it hard to catch the link to the next. Not a fault of the author, more in the production.

The concept of having an ex-cop, cop-family private detective working closely with her clean but mafia-family ex-husband worked nicely. I'll definitely look for more in this series. I enjoyed the setting in Boston, too.
