bookshelves: to-read, poetry

In general, I question the concept of such an anthology. But with this particular poet, in the hands of the right editor, and contributions from the right poets, it could be terrific. A real American Poetry experience.

Bruce Henricksen Hi Steve--I took an undergraduate course from Wright at UMN and had a brief reunion with him (and his wife, Annie) in 1979, the year before his death. Putting together From the Other Worldwas a labor of love, and corresponding with his contemporaries as well as the younger contributors was a gratifying supplement.
